Case study: Fitnoz, an eyewear brand that creates its videos with SocialBrain

October 22, 2026 · 4 min read

Fitnoz by Dareven is an optical and sunglasses brand designed, developed and manufactured in Mauritius for African facial features: a low and wide nose bridge and high cheekbones. It is also the brand of SocialBrain's founder, and therefore our first testing ground. Everything the tool does today for physical products was first tried on Fitnoz.

The challenge: many products, several languages, little time

  • 64 models in around 600 colourways, with two collections a year.
  • An online store in four languages (French, English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese) and customers in France, the UK, the US, Canada, Spain, Brazil and Côte d'Ivoire.
  • A small team whose job is designing and making frames, not shooting videos.

The need was easy to state: publish product videos regularly in every language, without a studio and without misrepresenting the frames.

Rule number one: never distort the product

For an eyewear brand, a beautiful but inaccurate video is worse than no video. A frame redrawn by AI, a temple that changes shape or an approximate colour, and customer trust is gone. SocialBrain applies strict rules to Fitnoz content:

  • The product stays the product: real catalogue photos are the reference, and a fidelity check runs before any paid video render.
  • A brand profile sets the frame: for Fitnoz, people of African descent, since the frames are designed for them.
  • No invented promotions: an offer is only mentioned if it actually exists in the store.

What SocialBrain does for Fitnoz

  • Catalogue import from the online store: product pages, photos and specifications for each frame.
  • Product videos in several formats (product showcase, lifestyle scenes, short formats for social media).
  • Copy and voice-over in four languages, adapted to each market rather than simply translated.
  • Approval before publishing: every creation is reviewed by the team before it goes live.

What we learned

First, product fidelity is not a setting: it is a check in its own right, to be done before spending anything on rendering. Second, consistency matters more than perfection: a brand that publishes every week in its four languages becomes known faster than one waiting for the perfect video.
